On April 20, 2022, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Alexandrovich Denisenko, within the framework of which the expansion of bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries was discussed.
     During the meeting, the issues of creating a joint venture for the production of carpets in the free economic zone “Sugd", the growth of exports of environmentally friendly goods and products of Tajikistan, such as fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and strengthening cooperation in the field of digitalization were discussed.
     At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to further expand bilateral cooperation, using the available opportunities
